Directed by established Hollywood filmmaker, Patrick Lussier who also shares the writing credits with Todd Farmer, comes this 2011 action and comedy packed fantasy film, Drive Angry. Staring one of the most recognised names in the film industry, Nicolas Cage, the movie also stars William Fincher of Prison Break fame and the young starlet, Amber Heard. The plot revolves around the central character of John Milton played by Cage, who is an undead criminal who has escaped the dungeons of hell to kill the leader of a cult, responsible for the death of his daughter and kidnapping of his granddaughter.
Racing against time and with the help of a waitress names Piper played by Amber Heard, John Milton goes about his task although he might have a few problems that include an expired driver’s licence and a strange gun, while being pursued by a man who calls himself accountant. With a tightly-knit script and a string of great action sequences, Drive Angry is a great action film and a sure entertainer.
