Nice breezy read
Junot Diaz might be a Pulitzer Prize winner but don't expect fantastic and wondrous things from this book. It is what it is, a well written, light and very in your face narrative about immigrant life in the US.
Love how he uses a smattering of Spanish to immerse you in his story. If you pick it up, make sure you read the Spanish glossary in tandem with each chapter.
A slim book but a beautiful book. Drown, a collection of short stories by Junot Diaz is a refreshing read which offers us a glimpse into the lives of Dominicans living in U.S.A My favorite story is How to date a Black Girl, Latina... This story reads as a self help story which is quite awesome!! Definitely will read other books by Junot Diaz!! :)
