A memoir by a woman who lost everything and rediscovered the true meaning of life, Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert is a bestselling novel about the author’s own journey to happiness.
Summary Of The Book
Elizabeth Gilbert’s book Eat, Pray, Love Tie-In Edition is a personal account of the author’s life, love, and her travels to India, Indonesia, and Italy.

Read the book back in 2006. It is the most well written vivid book I have read. I felt like I had gone through Italy and other places myself as I was reading it :)
Nice, uplifts your mood

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Great book, something that I would like to gift all the women in my network. Unfortunately to do so would cost a fortune. The author traverses through the 3 I's of the globe, to cure, recuperate and grow her inner-eye or to be more precise her inner-I.The book is about a journey of self discovery and acceptance beginning in the USof A the first phase of eat is at Italy, the first I, the indulgence and pure pleasure of it all. Like a catharsis. The next destination is India the land of praying and recuperating. Involves acceptance and forgiveness. The final destination is Indonesia where the author finds that the catharsis and healing has allowed her to find love, that is unconditional.Great read, the style is very conversational. Looking forward for the author's next book commitment.

First of all let me confess that am a novel-o-holic. Reading novels has always been my passion so am very selective in selecting and reading a novel.
I watched eat, pray, love and ofcourse i liked the movie. But there was something, I felt, was missing in the movie and was sure that the missing link could be found by reading the book and I was right. So many delicate points were conveniently missed in the movie. Such a delicately written novel this is (Or should I call it a biography of Elizabeth Gilbert). Am an addict of this book now.
If you are looking at this book thinking whether you shud buy it or not.. take my words, its worth reading....... I rest my case !!!
Elizabeth Gilbert makes it clear ,where ever you are, the basic needs of every woman remains the same. Was amazed by the immense amount of freedom american women enjoy, to pursue their own interests..
It's basically a light read ,and I guess most of the female population would find the book interesting. The book had Julia Roberts picture on the cover, and I could see Julia Roberts as Elizabeth thru out the book.
On the whole,it's all about finding peace with oneself..
This books takes you to a whole new level. First part makes you travel the whole of Italy. Second makes you go crazy about how to play with your mind. Its highly motivational. It makes you get that thing from within that puts into meditation and stuff. Third part makes you go awww.. where you feel how a true love can make your life happy.
All and all A BOOK WORTH THE READ.
