As for the speakers, Man this is 1 mean 2.1 speaker system to get your hands upon. Anyone who is willing to put money for a 2.1 sound system i purely suggest this set.
Don't lean back after gazing at the RMS on the specifications... This is one loud, crisp, tight, bold speaker system.
Looks: Completely Wooden finish (black), heavy.

Audiophile Speakers in Budget
I looked through a lot of products before buying this one. Some of my choices are not available here. Tested out a few. But Edifier C3 was the best choice for me. I don't like very boomy bass like the Logitech Z623 model. This speaker was suited to my exact taste. C3 is a very clean looking set. The orange halo light around the amplifier knob looks nice.

I first listened to edifier(c2) speakers when i was buying the altec octane 7, and they sounded so much better, so i went and bought C3, the speakers are loud(neighbors complain), crisp, clear and the bass is just perfect, neither too loud nor too low (better than octane 7), yes they are costlier than other 2.1 speakers but well worth it, build quality is awesome, u get a seperate stylish amplifier. I considered Altec, Logitech, Creative, Sony before buying!

5. Looks and feels upmarket
Cons:
1. After power off all all settings go to neutral (volume, bass and treble) and have to be reset to required levels

I bought this from FK for an incredibly lower price of Rs.7280/-. This is an excellent speaker system for those looking for good PC audio.
Build quality - excellent. Weighs 16kg. The subwoofer is built like a tank. The satellite speakers have a premium look owing to the wooden enclosure. The separate amp unit makes subwoofer placement easy. All accessories like speaker cables, 3.5mm to 2 RCA cable and IR remote are included. The speaker cables are of sufficient length and of good quality.

No matter who i asked all were against me buying these as it is a new brand , all were like buy sony bose etc etc these must be so bad. However i bought these & tried my luck. & i am glad i did so, these speakers will give any other speaker set of any brand in this price point a run for their money, sound is crisp & clear & there is low deviation at the hight volume point of 60. The bass is not great but good as many have already said in their reviews but better than any other speaker in this...

Loved it.
The mids and highs are crystal clear and the soundstage is big.
The bass is on the neutral side, but quite rich. I could easily feel the vibrations lying in my bed.
The unit has a nice black wooden finish. The subwoofer is heavy and feels solid, something of quality.
The cables for connecting the speakers and the sub-woofer to the amp unit are old-school cables with metal wire ends that require locking at both the speaker and the amp end. But still, that was a one time job for me...
