Good attempt to incorporate the whole syllabus.

This is good book available in the market on 'Environment and Ecology' for the UPSC syllabus.

But the UPSC is very dynamic so keeping in mind the dynamics of UPSC, this book lacks everywhere. It could be better if some more light had been thrown on some topics.

One serious aspirant must go for 'Environment Geography' by 'Savinder Singh' too.
Big book but covers every nick an neck of the syllabus.

Good for Beginners.....

I have ordered this book and got in 5 days....Good service from Flipkart. This book includes all d necessary chapters which comes in civil services. I have got 4-5 questions from this book in 2013 upsc Exam. But still I can say a good book for beginners....

very good book

Very few books on this topic are available. if suppemented with notes of NIOS and list of national parks, project tiger and wildlife sanctuaries from other sources,+2 biology ncert chapter on ecology its complete.
