Best in the market!
Very good book, it contains the basic of material science one can get depth knowledge of materials.context is easy to understand. syllabus is provided systematically. If talk of figures they are little blurry but doesn't create any obstacle to understand the text meaning.
I'll suggest to buy this book for every Engineering student hoping to get basic and throughout concept of material science,

ILLUSTRATIONS ARE VERY BADLY PRINTED..IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND THE THEORY WHICH THE PICTURES DESCRIBES.....IT SHOULD BE RECTIFIED BY FLIPKART OR PRINTERS......ELSE THIS BOOK IS OF NO USE...
