Empire of the Moghul: Ruler of the World : Ruler of the World (English) (Paperback) Price: Rs.220

Empire Of The Moghul: Ruler Of The World is an exciting account of the reign of Emperor Akbar, along with his intricately complex relationship with his heir apparent and son, Salim.

Summary Of The Book

Empire Of The Moghul: Ruler Of The World is the third book in the globally celebrated bestselling book series. This book starts off from where its predecessor ended and progresses with the tale of the victorious Moghul dynasty and its Emperor Akbar. The book reveals how the triumphant empire contained the seeds to its own annihilation.

Empire Of The Moghul: Ruler Of The World describes the reign of Akbar over almost one sixth of the global population, which placed him above Queen Elizabeth I in the power sweepstakes. He is presented as immensely wealthy and ruthless to the point of being despotic. His empire is shown as resting on the contrary forces of respect for all religions and unfathomable bloodshed resulting from his Asian conquests. The empire spread over most of Asia, manned by thousands of soldiers, elephants and other war devices. The book starts with the fourteen year old Emperor slaying a couple of tigers and learning of the invasion of Delhi by Hemu subsequently. This sets the tone for the rest of the novel and the book showcases the expansion of the Moghul Empire, battles across Bengal and Bihar, and campaigns in Kashmir and Gujarat.

Empire Of The Moghul: Ruler Of The World talks about the hundreds of rebellions throughout Akbar’s reign and his religious philosophy of Din-e-Ilahi. The book also showcases the Emperor’s marriage to Hirabai, the Rajput princess of Amber, which defied Moghul conventions, mullahs and family. Akbar’s relationship with his son Salim breaks down as a result. The book is a compelling journey through trust, betrayal, rebellion and competition among heirs.

Empire Of The Moghul: Ruler Of The World is a moving account of Akbar, who is deprived of the love of his dearest individuals in spite of his liberal and enigmatic personality. The book takes us through the multitude of problems cropping up throughout the huge empire and demonstrates Akbar’s rigid competence in solving them.

Akbar - the true story

The book is all about Akbar and how he managed to forge one of the biggest empires in the history of India.

It reveals several aspects of Akbar which we are unknown to. The way it has been narrated, it has kept up the great work of the previous 2 editions and is a class apart.

Everyone who wants to know read more about one of the greatest kings should surely read this. Like every great man, Akbar too has some weakness and committed few faults. All those and more are well narrated.

Loved the reading !

Empire of the Moghul: Ruler of the World is a good book in the series. Although many characters in the
reality are not portrayed in this book and also the incidence of paramount importance are amiss, yet the language is very compelling and scenes are conjured up awesomely. Loved the reading !

A complex family history of the mughals

The story continues from the second book , where after having lost his father suddenly after their conquering India Akbar has to suddenly fend for himself. A story of how Akbar became from a son of Humayun to Akbar The Great. story unfolds into the complex relationship between an all powerful father and a son desparately trying to prove his worth. It shows how ambition takes over family values. a brilliant sequel to the first two books which ends in another betrayal. A very good book.
The book of Akbar The Great to the world.........
