Employee Vendetta

Jack Wellington was more mobster boss than chief executive officer of Electronic General Incorporated. He was driven by greed and a knack for always hitting his profitability targets. He resorted to covert tactics when he felt they were necessary, while carefully maintaining an image of utmost integrity. His tactics included the use of covert technology to reduce retiree pension and health expenses by eliminating the retirees and their spouses, while making their deaths appear to be from natural causes. He would have been successful had he not underestimated the tenacity of Edwin Lowe to get even. Instead of coming to Edwin's aid when he complained about mistreatment by the local management, Jack ignored him and allowed the local management team to subject Edwin to a form of electronic harassment. Edwin was a smart engineer with a drive for vengeance. That drive would lead to Jack Wellington's exposure and downfall.
