About the Author

Gang Qi, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Memphis. Dr. Qi earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Inner Mongolia Polytech University and his M.S. in Bioenvironmental Engineering at China Agricultural University before completing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University. He is also the author of a number of journal articles based on his extensive research in the area of mechanical and bioenvironmental engineering.
