This book is written in very simple language. This book is good for basic geology but not enough for them who want details.

Good choice for a beginner
text book is very helpful for students doing a general course in geology. The book covers most of the topics related to geology, but not in an in-depth manner. Certain topics like geological maps are not given due attention. As a whole, the book is good.
