About Author :
Dr. A. K. Singh did his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University in 1980 in first class with distinction securing 80-90 % marks in various subjects. He did his project work on Solar Still to obtain distilled water from brackish or saline water. The project was sponsored by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. After completing his degree, he joined National Seeds Corporation (Govt. of India Undertaking) as an Apprentice Engineer for a short period of time and then he established his own industry (Packaging Industry) at Noida, U.P. He worked as the Managing Director till 1988. Later, he did his Post Graduate Diploma specializing in Marketing Management M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering from I.I.T , Delhi in 1999. He completed his project work under the esteemed guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Arun Kanda, the Head of Department, Rural Department, Central Workshop I.I.T., I.I.T, Delhi. He joined Border Security Force (DW) in 1993 and worked for more than ten years in the service of welfare organization. He worked as Lecturer, Placement Officer & Principal at B.S.F.(DW). He received Appreciation Letters & Commendation Certificate from Dy. Inspector General for his best teaching. Thereafter, he joined as Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at I.E.C. College of Engineering Noida for a short period of time and served as Principal at Somany Institute of Technology & Management, Rewari. Later, he joined as Principal & Professor at Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Vidyapeeth, Sirsa (Haryana).

Dr. Singh has attended refresher course in education at Jamia Millia Islamia Univesity course sponsored by U.G.C. Dr. Singh has completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Allahabad Agricultural Institute Deemed University. He did his course under the esteemed guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Arun Kanda, I.I.T. Delhi and Prof. (Dr.) Matthew Parsad, Director Extension A.A.I.D.U. He worked as the Chief Controller/Superintendent for the conduct of B.Tech. examination of Ch. Devi Lal University at Sirsa.
