Better to get system hacked instead of such ink cartridges.
I had an Epson ME 535 earlier and was fed up of its regular ink charges. It was proving to be expensive.
It claims around 235 pages, but even if you don't use the printer for 6 days, its ink dries up and then a ink flush happens for head cleaning. That takes up around 1/3rd of the ink. I actually got only 40-50 prints/ cartridge regardless of what the company claims.
So, I got fed up and sold the Epson ME 535 and purchased a hacked Canon MP287 with ink tank system for Rs. 6500.
