Compact and small in its size, this EQ BP-18 BP monitor is portable and handy. The blood pressure monitor has two main components that consist of the main unit and a non-integrated cuff. The cuff fits medium sized arms ranging from 24-34 cm in diameter. The main unit includes a digital LCD display and control buttons. The LCD screen digitally displays both systolic/diastolic pressure readings and pulse rates simultaneously.Performance and Features
The Equinox BP monitor has been tested in clinical trials using the Auscultory measurement method as a reference to meet accuracy standards. The Auscultory measurement method detects audible sounds from the arterial wall. Based on the presence and disappearance of these sounds, your systolic and diastolic pressure readings are taken. The EQ BP-18 Equinox BP monitor incorporates an in-built electro-pneumatic pump that auto- inflates the cuff to an optimal level.Facilitated with a memory feature, the BP monitor can store and save 3 x 12 measurements with average. The BP monitor first takes 3 readings and stores the average of these readings. The Equinox BP monitor is capable of storing 12 such average readings. This helps you for tracking your blood pressure conditions in future. This arm BP monitor can display measurements ranging from 20 mmHg to 280 mmHg for pressure readings and 40 to 199 beats/minute for pulse rates. The BP monitor is calibrated at +/-3 mmHg for pressure and +/-5% of reading for pulse rates. This digital BP monitor operates on 4 AA batteries.

Effective and easy to use
Best for self-use. Simple instructions. The feature to take multiple readings and get a trend is very useful.
Also useful is the idea of having multiple sets of readings.
The only improvement that I can think of is to make the connector a little longer.
