Get up, get ready, and wander around the neighborhood until something interesting came up, which usually never happened. That was the pattern that Joseph Erift and Eric Castis had been following every summer since they could remember, because other than that there wasn't much else for them to do. Until one day, after returning home from the last day of school, Joseph receives a mysterious letter in the mail from an unknown individual, beckoning him to journey to its source. And after reading it, both his and Eric's existence are given a whole new perspective.

Now, their once normal lives have been thrown into a struggle to suppress an evil entity from seeking revenge on those he said wronged him. But little do Joseph and Eric know that their adventure will run much deeper than they could have ever imagined. With the help of an odd professor by the name of Ben Thessit, and others met over the course of time, every one of them must fight to understand the secrets of the ancient force known as Magic, and to end the advancing chaos.
