The only antivirus you need...
If you haven't heard the name of NOD32 before, just check Wikipedia. It is the most highly rated AV ever.
My pendrive got infected with some virus due to which I could not see its contents. Windows XP would give me an error whenever I clicked on the pendrive icon in My Computer. AVG Free detected it but could not remove it. I installed Microsoft Antivirus Essentials but it would crash while removing it. Finally I installed a trial version of NOD32 which swiftly removed the virus and my pendrive began working normally.
ESET NOD32 v5 is the best antivirus that I've used. It is fast and lightweight, and updates itself automatically and quickly. Although Kaspersky is also good, it often takes a long time to update. NOD32 also has a "gaming mode" in which you won't get any distractions if you are playing games.
NOD32 has won 67 VB100 awards from Virus Bulletin, more than any other antivirus. It has failed only thrice to pass this test.
Compare this to QuickHeal which has passed 39 times and failed 12 times, while Kaspersky has passed 57 times and failed 20 times.
Just go for it....you won't regret buying it.

A Silent Guardian
This is one AV which will never make noise while constantly protecting you from the threat. it is constantly on diet, and that's the reason why it looks good!!
jokes apart. this AV is one serious bundle of superguns meant to defend you from the most malicious! it has been verified by international associations like Virus Bulletin and ISCA Labs, to name a few. unlike its peers(esp norton), it doesn't demand sumptuous meals, and a small but balanced diet suffices. as a result, there is enough surplus of memory still left for you to utilize to your heart's content!!
i am running it on my 7 year old desktop, and it is working flawlessly. it never interrupts, never grunts, in fact, it's existence is practically unnoticed for most of the time!!
i had discovered NOD32 some 3 years back, and instantly fell in love with it. the interface is minimal and to the point.
SUMMARY: this is one software to install and forget about. like a "Silent Guardian"(courtesy TDKR), it will protect your maching from infections. so go for it. u'll never regret having spent 400 bucks!!

Best antivirus out there
This is the best antivirus out there:
1. Does not pester you with pop up boxes every now and then
2. You dont need to tell it to clean your PC.
3. You will never see the glimpse of a virus as it cleans even before it infects your computer
4. Very user friendly
5. Its easy to get back files which were deleted (because they return a false positive)
6. It is very resource efficient. You can run this on the cheapest computer and still wont feel that the computer has slowed down.
7. Extremely fast in cleanin files.
8. Extremely cheap considering how awesome it is.
Cons:- None what so ever.
Would i recommend it: Definitely. All the computers i assemble have nod32 in them.
Trust me and buy it. you will never regret it.

Low on resources,excellent detection and removal.
This has to be the best security solution out there.It is pretty low on resources.That means it's NOT going to slow down your computer whatsoever.That being the chief attraction,it also gives you top class performance on detection and removal of viruses.The gaming mode is another feather in the cap of this anti-virus;which will make sure your gaming experience is free of any interruptions.
As for the service provided by flipkart-I am pretty satisfied.I placed my order on the 22nd of Feb and got it on the 23rd.It was excellently packed.5 stars !!

GREAT PROTECTION
been using this for almost 5 days now. Installation took a bit longer on win7 pro 64bit from installation disk, updated automatically after installation.
Thorough scan takes longer than other AVs.
I keep a pen drive, its daring to plug this drive on any system, is has some hacking tools and a lot of viruses. it failed many a good anti virus programs.
But ESET?? it detected the viruses..
System boot speed noticeably improved, programs startup is also a bit faster now.
As some fellows are saying that the registration is bothersome, dont know how they did the installation, it was a breeze to register, just enter the code printed on the very first page of manual. And I disconnected the net while installation.
GO buy this, no second thoughts..
