Eveready HL-51 LED Emergency Lights

This has the best build quality that i have ever come across in emergency lamps.

The following features are very nice indeed.
Auto cut when fully charged.
Auto light up when power fails.

There is a switch that allows you to choose between 20 LED's and 40 LED's lighting up.
It has a fixed face/ housing for the 40 LED's and the best part is the bottom has a neat compartment to store the charging cord/power cord.

for those of you who want more features like a round LED torch in addition to the front lamp or if you want the front face/housing to swivel and rotate to use it like a table lamp, then i suggest go for the HL-52 LED model which is also available here.

Last but not the least, the packing and delivery of flipkart is fantastic. Got this in mint condition in two days.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER UNPACKING I STARTED USING IT.
I LIKE THE AUTO ON FEATURE.THE CHOICE OF 20 LED OR 40 LED PROVIDES THE CHOICE OF FLEXIBILITY.
DEEP DISCHARGE AND OVERCHARGE PROTECTIONS ARE UNIQUE.
THOUGH 20-24 HRS CHARGING BEFORE USING FIRST TIME IS ADVISED, THE LIGHT STARTED WORKING IMMEDIATELY AFTER UNPACKING. IT SEEMS IT IS PRE-CHARGED BEFORE DELIVERY.
IT HAS PROVISION FOR WALL MOUNTING THEREBY UNNECESSARY HANDLING IS AVOIDED.

Got this for Rs.1115 which is good deal. It has 40 LED lights not 30 as mentioned in the description given above. Very light -weight & easy to carry. Good powerful lighting with all 40 LEDs lighted. Also has an option for lighting 20 LEDs. The cable can be enclosed inside, but the length is only 80cms which is not enough. Overall a good buy.

Pros:
-Very bright light, 40 leds (not 30 as claimed on many sites).
-2 modes, 20 or 40 LEDs lit
-lasts for a long time, ran for 6hrs with no noticeable dimming/any other problem. (manufacturer claims 14hrs backup)
-Nice dark brownish red/maroon color (not the bright red shown on the box)
-6 months manufacturer warranty
-Auto on feature

Cons:
-Charging cord is short
-Somewhat more glare than CFL-based lights

Overall very much worth buying.
