review of EVM 1gb ddr2
Very good VFM. Used 2 sticks of this as upgrade for an old Pentium-D machine having previously 512MB. It makes a visible difference in speed, everything runs smoother. Things like MS office, IE8 etc open a lot quicker than before.
(If any DDR2-800 variant is available it will be even faster).
Go for it, you will definitely appreciate the speed boost.
P.S. This is made in Singapore, so quality wise it should be quite good!

About the RAM:
- Initially did not work, motherboard kept on giving beeps
- Changed the slots, voila! Desktop sprang to life :-)
Just a piece of info:
- I have 2 x 553 Mhz RAM (512MB x 2) and now 2 x 1GB 667Mhz additionally (Total 3GB on board now)
- The motherboard (Intel 945GNT) works well after initial POST (Power On Self Test).
- Somehow POST takes atleast a minute before bringing on the Window's 'Starting Screen' even after taking the battery out and rebooting multiple times.
- I guess this is due to the RAM's running on different frequencies
Otherwise no issues, RAM is value for money and gives Pentium Dual Core 2.1 Ghz (7-8yrs old) a fresh lease of life.

Value Ram-Bang for your buck!!!
Bought two of these for my desktop PC which I was restoring for my parents use mainly for Skype and internet usage as my old RAM had conked off. These were the cheapest available and also from Strontium who are leaders in memory products on par with Sandisk if not better.
Well delivery was super fast as usual. Flipkart surely is the fastest shipper with excellent packing.
Ram was perfect. Made my old PC system with AMD athlon dual core processor come alive. Speed is excellent and the desktop PC is just as fast as newer laptop.
All in all go for it. Excellent value for money. Thanks to Flipkart for overall excellent shopping experience!!!

Value RAM, Excellent Delivery on time
Unbelievable price and performance. I started thinking of getting rid of my old P4 PC. I bought this stick and went along with previous 1 GB. I must say i really saved a lot of money on up-gradation. It made my Old Desktop very speedy and multitasking.
Good choice if you would like to enhance performance and speed of your old desktop.
