The Expected One

Set in the Kingdom of Rodano, this is a story of Mahdi, selected as an apprentice by the Order of the Mystics. Mystics use Light Magic to aid the people of the kingdom with the help of the Light Beings. These are beings made of pure energy sent to the world to aid humanity. Mahdias Aunt Gazali is the head of the Mystics. The young apprentice is insecure about her abilities and feels she could never be the great Mystic her aunt is. Gazali is called away to the village Mur on the other side of the Kingdom. While Gazali is away, a terrible thing happens. Something has caused an imbalance, and Light Magic can no longer be performed by any of the Mystics. There are no Mystics near the cause, except for Mahdi. Time is against them, and Gazali has no choice but to send her young niece the apprentice to correct the problem.
