it's good... the two star is for the reason that once you close the lid and back online, the SD card does not read...you need a restart

Q:Can it become standard memory to save the files?
Can we just keep it inside MacAir and retrieve files from it as and when required?
A:this is very useful for having an extra storage but it wwill not merge with main SSD on Macbook. It will show as an additional drive. But you can save your media files in it.you can keep inside

A:Yes, i have Mac Book Air .. works like a charm.. it only protrudes out 1 mm.. woking with 128 GB Samsung Evo SD card..
