Description

Faceless is a thrilling superhero novel set in present day India by Nizam Ahmed.

Summary of the Book

This is the story of Kabir, a young man who tries to kill himself and discovers that he has superpowers. Blinded by his new abilities, he tries to get back at his boss and to win his colleague’s love. He tries to become a well-known and admired superhero, but soon his attempts lead to failure. He clumsily pulls off a rescue act for a girl called Riona, and a dramatically orchestrated introduction at the Qutub Minar. He tries to use social media as a weapon, and encounters characters like a wily Russian and a mysterious monk. But just as he thinks he has learnt to deal with his powers, a power-hungry ringleader of a band of kidnappers called the Devil rears his ugly head, and sets off a chain of events which may yet break Kabir’s resolve.

Review of 'Faceless'

The story is unique, I would give the author that. And some parts of the novel are hilarious and natural. Like the way the protagonist feels when he comes to know that he has superpowers, the way he deals with it in the beginning. The story is a refreshing change, and urges you to complete it at one go. However, some events and scenes, rather than augmenting the story, seem too dramatic. Superhero stuff is fine, but the most important thing is that the characters should be believable. The au...

Faceless Review

Faceless....by Nizam Ahmed

First of all I would like to thank becomeshakespeare.com for sending me books to read and review them.

Its really like that I deliberately and seriously want to criticize the book "Faceless" and its author. Whatever I am posting and writing here in this review after reading the book, is completely based on my personal opinion. The writing, the language, the plot, the narration & every single thing of this book is abrogating & nugatory. Leaves a very amatory impres...

Flying Fantasy!

Faceless is a book about a super hero! Yes, he is an Indian superhero, one that our bollywood hunks can do justice to very well!! Faceless is an ordinary boy who finds himself with super powers when he tries to do the unthinkable – commit suicide.

This book has office politics, romance, heart break, suspense, thrills and intrigue. It makes for an interesting read. The character of Kabir could be the young man from next door; working, staying alone and minding his own business. He falls for N...

Entertaining

This book is entertaining. A realistic take on the superhero genre - not a 'waste of time' as mentioned by Mr.Tushar Rastogi ( who should perhaps improve his own language skills before reviewing other authors ). Had fun reading it and definitely looking forward to more by the author.
