About Ruskin Bond

Ruskin Bond is an Indian author of British origin. He has been writing for over sixty years now and has more than 120 titles in print novels, poetry, essays and books for children. Room on the Roof was his first novel, which received the prestigious John Llewellyn Rhys award in 1957. He has also been honored with the Padma Shri In 2012, he was awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Delhi government.

Just wow!

A great read. Brought this to keep me company during a travel and it was a wonderful choice. Made with several tiny stories which are some of the best collection of works, I would definitely suggest it to everyone who loves to read short stories.

IN LOVE WITH RUSKIN

I love reading Ruskin Bond's short stories, and I thoroughly enjoyed these gentle as a breeze stories. Some I had read before some I hadn't. Its a charming anthology of stories set in a wonderful time in a utopian part of India, a time that exists no more. I always transport myself to the Northern Hills when I read Ruskin and I am transported into a different time and place. Wonderful

"Falling in Love Again" was a light, crisp and simple read. As always, Ruskin Bond's love for Nature almost overshadowed the amours, but in the end, it's just like the title says, you'll fall in love again!
The cover illustration, I must confess, makes it the perfect gift for Her on St. Valentine's Day!

Good One But not Gr8!!

The stories in this books are realistic however it fails to hold the readers interest for long. The first story is the best in the collection. All in all it is a good Book for a quick read

If u want a book just wile u sip a cup of coffee pick it up as each story is crisp and just the right kind of readers who are beginners.
