Family Diversity In India

This book examines the characteristics of family life of various religious and cultural groups in India adn analyses the diversities and complexities of family patterns, practices and ethos that exists in India. It draws upon a range of interdisciplinary perspectives to identify the extyent to which family values, the nature of family life and family living differ between different religious and cultural groups in India.

Dr. Parimal Roy has held research and teaching positions in Australia, Canada, Malaysia and India and is currently Seniour Lecturer in Sociology and Coordinator of Graduate Studies at the School of Humanities, Communication and Social Sciences, Monash University Gippsland Campus, Australia.
