A gripping tale of a simple vacation gown horribly wrong, Far Cry 3 is critically acclaimed First Person Shooter with Role Play and Adventure all wrapped into one title. The game revolves around the protagonist being captured along with his friends by a band of pirates in a remote island. It is up to you to escape the clutches of these men and rescue your friends while you are at it. You also run into the natives of the island who are troubled by the activities of the pirates and want to join forces with you. You enter a world beyond civilization, on an island ruled by human misery and piracy. Drugs and weapons are found in plenty here and you can use them to your advantage against your opponents.
As you progress along the game, you gradually start to discover the bloody secrets held within the island and its inhabitants. You need to navigate the island and its environment as you take on missions to sabotage the activities of the infamous pirates. Explore the unforgiving terrain of this seemingly untouched paradise and discover the snakes within.

Just an average FPS, nothing great
I bought far cry 3 on PS3 mainly because of number of good reviews and its high rating in gamer sites like ign/gamespot etc... but I am hugely disappointed !
The games look fairly good with the tropical forest setup, but graphics are not sharp enough. Asassins creed 3 which got released before this has got a much better graphics.
I started getting a headache after running around the environment for sometime. The frame rate is not at ...

Far Cry 3 (FC3) is one of the very best games ever released.
I seriously love this game I spent hours upon hours playing it and love that you can just roam the island ( Actually two islands but only one at the beginning). This game is huge and mean it would seriously take you all day to discover the whole island without making any story progress.
If I can give you a few tips that I found to be beneficial to make a game a lot more fun And easier Period at the very beginning just run around ...
