Feeling Good - The New Mood Therapy is a self-help guide on overcoming common mental ailments without the use of drugs.

Summary Of The Book

Written by a leading expert on human psychiatry, David D. Burns, Feeling Good - The New Mood Therapy is a guide to curing common mental conditions without the use of any drugs. The book provides scientifically proven methods for detecting the causes behind conditions such as anxiety, low self-esteem, and depression, and goes on to suggest therapeutic methods to overcome them effectively.

The book primarily focuses on suppressing such feelings in their nascent stage and lifting one’s spirits to feel better about oneself. The explanations provided can easily be understood and adopted to manage anxiety, defeat guilt, and feel good every day.

Feeling Good - The New Mood Therapy includes a discussion on alternative therapies available for treating depression and a well-researched consumer's guide to antidepressant drugs.
