Fight To Fly

U.S. Navy Lieutenant Paxton Langford receives orders to a fighter squadron deploying to Vietnam -- an answered prayer -- for he fears the conflict will end before he gets his chance at an enemy MiG. To him, his future couldn't look brighter. But then Sally Banks finagles her way into his lifeand his heart. That she doesn't understand the war, or approve of participants in war, rocks their romantic boat, but even so, their attraction holds and should prevail, except for an unplanned indiscretion when Pax arrives in San Diego. Combat flying from carriers provides more than enough challenges, but Pax faces a force deadlier than MiGs, SAMs, or flak -- one against which he has no defense. How he confronts this juggernaut will determine his future in the Navy and with Sally. Such high stakes magnify any misstep's cost.
