The Final Report is the third and final novel in Monabi Mitra’s DSP Bikram crime series.

Summary of the Book

A young girl falls to her death under mysterious circumstances in a residential complex. To Inspector Bikram, this should be an ordinary case, but the fact that he lives in the same complex changes everything. Who is this girl? The scene has all the signs of a suicide, but how did the girl manage to climb up to the roof unnoticed? To top it all off, two young criminals are exploring a new modus operandi, and there is a spike in wildlife poaching and antique thefts. Bikram Chatterjee is also trying to manage his love life during these troubled times, but he might just have his hands full!

Monabi Mitra is an Indian writer and academic who teaches English at Scottish Church College, Calcutta. Her marriage to an Indian Police Service officer introduced her to police procedure, which she has used to start the DSP Bikram series.
