Very good Book and Must have for a new joineeI bought this book as I saw one of my senior executives gifting it to another senior member who was moving to another wing of the organization. It helps by providing a structured approach to help a professional while adapting to a new place. Basic thought process behind this book seems to be very similar to "Effective Executive" by Peter Drucker. Worth reading.

great concepts but lacks engagementits a very well talked about and marketed book by HBR. concepts are great ...it gives good thumbrules which you can adopt. but it isnt a story book which made me read it in a rush just to get over with it.

Great bookBoth the books on the leadership role in private sector or Govt. are extremely relevant. A must for all people growing professionally , how unknowingly one can fall in for not realizing what is important..

Nothing great, obvious things stated in a long boring wayI don't know why this book is rated so highly, much better insights are expected from an author who has such strong credentials.

Impressive!Though I've not completed reading the book, it sure is a gem. One of the unique books which actually helps & guides you through your transition to a new role... Be it in a new organization or an existing one.
