The Flea Market

James Hagar is weeks away from graduating from Cornell University when he gets the phone call that changes his plans for the future. His plan -- a cushy job, a corner office with a view and a secretary with a better view. His parents' plan -- spend the summer in Epworth, South Carolina selling off the remains of a recently deceased great-aunt who operated a flea market business. James protests, but in the end knows that his parents will cut off his gravy train if he refuses. James' summer includes falling in love, a run-in with a ruthless cousin, a run-in with the crooked owner of the flea market, and numerous mistakes that alienate him from practically everyone he meets. Through it all, James is haunted by a dark secret that is emerging about his father, a secret he's determined to uncover.
