Jaspal Bhatti is immortal
The best memories of my schooldays are connected with the only form of entertainment that was Doordarshan. I enjoyed his Ulta Pulta so much that his Flop Show was the highlight of slapstick comedy relevant not only at that time but also this time also. This DVD is a must for everyone. With his sheer observation he brought out the corruption and red tape in the society as well as Govt Departments. Bhatti represented the common man like that of R K Laxman. DVD is good quality. i bought this for my mother for her Birthday and she told it was the best gift. Long live Jaspal Bhatti and his Humour.
THE BIG DADDY
The baap of all comedy shows "Flop Show" is simply the best comedy to appear on Indian Television besides perhaps "Sarabhai V/s Sarabhai".
Each episode is issue centric and a masterpiece in true sense of the word.
Jaspal Bhatti redifined the comedy genre on TV. Sadly there were no more shows like this from the Bhatti camp.
If you are down in the dumps I strongly recommend that you watch Flop Show to lift your spirits.

Didn't like the endings
I got the DVDs just today. Saw few episodes. Well there is nothing to say about this show. Never thought I can have the episodes as a collection.
Only thing I didn't like is the endings - though they are complete but they seemed sudden. I guess they have cut out the ending casting - cannot remember what was there at the end - its a long time :)
Reminds me of the sweet old days of DD National and life. I wish it was a direct recording of the show with the DD logo - unfortunately not possible.

too bad only ten episodes
Too bad they made only ten episodes for this. Very sarcastic on the various issues. Some of the things shown in the show are still happening
Wish there were more starts to rate this.
Any way its a clean good family fun.
And of course thanks to flikpart for delivering it at my convenient time.

funny series, bad remastering
this series continues to tickle the funny bone yet remains relevant today. However I am not satisfied with the quality:
Bad sound quality - the box says its 5.1 but sound is not very clear.
For few episodes, the ending song/parody is cut-off and not included.
