F.M.White is undoubtedly the best book for fluid mechanics.But this Special Indian Edition is missing the proper derivation of the Reynolds transport Theorem,which is actually included in the international edition of this book(I am having an e-book of its international edition).I lost my time figuring out the RTT derivation.When I checked the soft-copy of FM white,I found, to my utter disappointment, that the new edition was missing a complete section explaining the derivation.I haven't finis...

Lots of problems and real-life like examples make it superior to other books. Lucid and easy to go through. One of the best books on FM available.It is somewhat mechanical engg oriented but acts as a good concept builder for anyone interested in the subject.

This is really a Engineering thing. It clears almost every concept which is required by Engineers. The emphasis is given on building concepts rather than on Numerical Treatment. But let me tell you one thing that it requires a good knowledge of English to clearly understand what Writer want to say.
