best book for the beginner, the audio CD included with the book is worthy with lots of dialogues in fench with english translation... nice one!
basic grammar is provided, pronouciation for the every sentence printed in the text is provided, verb conujugations for our daily usage, small dictionary at the end, activities and games are available, dialogue and conversation are there throughtout the book good guidance for the beginner
This book is just so much fun if one wants to explore a different language. The exaples and the over process is interesting and fun to follow. French as a language is so similair to hindi and i strongly suggest that everyone read this book.

*Covers all grammar & pronunciation rules.
*Builds quite some vocabulary (includes a dictionary at the back)
*Teaches you to converse in specific situations (if you were in france)
*You get the basic concepts of French Language quickly, everything written clearly by the authors.
Cons:-
*Very little and No exercises to exercise the knowledge gained and the concepts learned.
I would give it 5 stars, had they included enough exercises to make the learning 'complete & perfect'.
For those who are pursuing french language or who are thinking to learn french, this book is good, with easy to understand english "pronounciation"......plus how to memories a particular article, all is done in a very friendly manner for the beginners !! I ordered this book after a bit of hesitation, but when i got it delivered to my address and after gone through its pages....i would recommend this book for sure !! Happy Reading!
This book is good for beginners but not if you want to learn french grammar and basics thoroughly.
however this book will enable you to communicate in french. I would not recommend this book if you want to learn french seriously.
The Cd is helpful for beginners. it does give you a good idea about french pronunciation !
