Fujicell BC1002 Battery Charger (with 4 x 2800 mAh Rechargeable Battery) Battery Charger

Please DO NOT purchase Fujicell branded products. I had ordered for this set (charger plus 4 cells), but the 2800 mAh rated batteries would just not charge, even after 8 hours of charging. I had also ordered for a set of 4, 1100 mAh rated cells. They were able to get charged-up, but lasted less than a standard pair of AA cells. Compare this- my iMac bluetooth magic-mouse is able to run on a pair of Duracell for at least 45-50 DAYS. These 1100 mAh batteries lasted for 2 (TWO) days!

I asked flipkart to replace the products, but even the replacement is giving me the same problems. I then searched for 'fujicell' on Google, and its only then I realised that they are a very undependable brand. One review showed how the 2800 mAh rated cells give not more than 1800 mAh. If indeed true, which I am strongly inclined to believe, this is in clear violation of consumer laws in India.

Avoidable!

Before buying any rechargeable batteries, keep in focus what you are going to use it for...if you are looking for high drain purposes, then this product is very very good...Fujicell performed excellent... If you are going to use it for a regular usage like, TV remote, AC remote and the likes, prefer to buy Sanyo Eneloop Lite HR-4UQ-4BP or 4HR-3UTG-SECP BP , Godrej GP EkoPower or ReCyko or Sony NH-AA-B4KN .... Fujicell is yet to come up with something comparable for low drain purposes.... Preference order for low drain is Sanyo Eneloop> Sony> Godrej GP...
As I am writing this, the price on flipkart, alongwith the delivery time weighted for, is the best deal for Sony,Eneloop and GP....

If you are guessing a mixed use, sometimes high drain, sometimes low drain...then SURE TO BUY All purpose low drain batteries as mentioned above....

There is one user mentioning the problem of OverSize...in my case too, 1 of the 4 was having a little extra size... I thought of it as an abberation....

Overall, for high drain purposes...you can consider this Fujicell, along with Eneloop and Sony... They are at-par....

First of all, a lightning fast delivery from flipkart. The product was at my doorstep in 2 days.

Now,about the product. What must I say, this is even better than I could imagine. Plug the charger all night, and then take snaps the whole day. I've been constantly photographing for the last 1 month and believe me, I take a lot of snaps.

The battery has never dried up on me.

So overall, great performance. I can't say about the life as I've just bought it. But I think I'll use it for as long as I can.

It is the best among all chargers and batteries in this price..

About the product:
Firstly, these are a millimeter or 2 bigger than the std AA size. So I had to struggle to shove them inside the device for which I purchased these (the JBL on go dock). The fit is exceedingly tight. I have to spend 5 mins to shove them in such that the connectors snap in place. And notwithstanding the fact that and I have to pry them open using a sharp object each time.
The battery also got discharged in an hour on the JBL, despite their 2800 capacity. Big let down till now. I will try them once more after a charge.
