Excellent camera, more pros, less cons

I purchased it from Nehru place, The seller told me that it also shipped for Flipkart.
Been using it for 3 months. It has huge zoom. Can easily capture the moods of the moon.

One issue is loss of focus at high zoom videography. Maybe due to phase detection focussing
Another issue is that the focus ring does not actually show focal length in meters like other cameras. It shows some sort of slider. It makes it impossible to focus on, say stars at night.
Full manual mode is absent. I wasn't ab...

Very Good Bridge Camera

Very fast focusing even on the maximum focal length... Can use it handled also, very good IS (Image Stabilisation)... Has many in-built functions, which gives good adventure... I own a DSLR and this, I'll give 5/10 for DSLR and 9/10 for this... But in terms of image quality i accept my DLSR does well can give 9 for DSLR and 6 for this... But this will make you see "more than your eyes can see".

Overall i love this product much, I'm highly satisfied for the money i paid. If thinking for long ...

Best Zoom Camera Available in the Planet!!!!

The camera has every feature that you need in its category. It has phase detection AF which is very rare among zoom cameras.

Overall good super zoom bridge camera

I am using it for last 7 days.
Pros:
1. Optical stablisation is very good from other small sensor point and shoot even in low light i.e. during night and hand held.
2. Low light performance is better then small sensor P&S like Nikon P300 (P300 uses f1.8 aperture at wide angle - 24 mm) at wide angle.
3. Fast Auto Focus speed then the other small sensor P&S like Nikon P300. HS50EXR has hybrid AF system which uses Phase detection. This phase detection is also used in DSLR.

Sharp quick focus, high speed, good image quality, 1/2" cmos sensor, hand easy zoom (similar to SLR) high zoom 42x and 84x. satisfied :-)

A very versatile camera for nature lovers

I have been a great fan of Fujifilm's EXR sensors. Upon getting a bit used to it, you get decent snaps with Great Colour, which makes 'Fujifilm' cameras stand out. I make this assessment, being a nature lover (birding in particular) who finds himself often in company of wildlifers & photographers. I have seen results from all popular brands - Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Sony, etc. So far as long zoom bridge cameras are concerned, the 'HS50EXR' truly impresses me as a versatile do-it-all performer....

Best In Class Point & Shoot Camera

I have been taking a lot of pictures in various lighting conditions with the HS50EXR and I can say that its the best in class camera at a mouth watering price. The Pro Focus and EXR modes are just extravagant. The OIS is very helpful. I never got a blurry photo. The various shooting options in black and white, antique mode etc. - Icing on the cake. The shutter speed is super fast. Its the has the fastest auto focus within its competition. The image quality degrades just a tad bit at full magn...

Beyond Point and Shoot- Has P/S/A/Manual Mode

This Camera has a lovely feel, very high zoom, as well as can shoot great Macro- like an ants face or a dew drop. Has the Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual exposure Mode like a DSLR has. This is much beyond any point and shoot. You will love this device if you have it.

the best u can get

Well first of all I bought it frm snapdeal as it was givng me 0% processing fees on emi as comapred to the 1500 buks u hve to give in flipkart for 12 mnth emi. As of th3 product gr8 zoom gr8 low light photogrphy... littel bulky bt wats the big deal..... its gt super macro shot which can tke pics frm a dostnce of 1 2 centmtrs.. be it a bee or an insect u cn gt gr8 images at low resolutin too with pixel density.. if u wnt to learn photgrphy nd dnt wnt intrchngble lenses nd dnt hve a big pocket...
