This is my third camera.i have canon SX110IS, SX150IS. Used nikon coolpix L810, L310. at present i am using Fujifilm Finepix S4500
I am using it from 27 Sept 2012. order id OD20920190399. if you want to buy a camera with manual settings, then you can buy it.
Wonderful product, worth the money, lots of modes to play,Ultra Zoom,The Autofocus is pretty awesome. The Camera is Good and has got awesome clarity. Video shooting at 720p is awesome,Excellent Zoom, Good Quality, image stabilizer is decent enough, macro mode is nice.
**** There are some basic difference among canon, nikon and fujifilm (In range of Rs.11000 - 14000) ****
1) indoor picture - Canon & Nikon are better than Fujifilm(In auto mode). If u can adjust Fuji in manual mode, then no difference.
2) outdoor picture- all are same.(In manual mode Fuji is better).
3) in flash section- Fujifilm is the best.
4) Only fujifilm has Electronic View finder.
5) in picture properties you can see- canon & fuji-4.60 mb/picture, where as in nikon coolpix,it is 5.5 mb/picture.
6)fujifilm has only two aperture settings 3.2 & 8.0, where canon has 2.8 to 8.2 & nikon has auto mode.
7) in canon & fuji no welcome screen settings.
8) in macro mode fuji is best. only it has super macro mode.
9) in movie mode you can record only 9.23 mint in fuji film. but nikon & canon have no limit.
10) i think canon is the best, 2nd is both Fuji & nikon, (but first Fuji.)
11) Nikon and Fuji need 4 AA battery, canon need only 2 AA battery.
so if you want to use a camera only in auto mode then you must buy nikon or canon. but if you want to use manual mode like shutter speed, aperture, iso then never go for nikon. my opinion go for canon.... or fujifilm for having Electronic view finder & running on 4 AA battery.
[Canon means - sx150is, sx160is, Nikon=L310/L810, Fuji=S4500]
so first canon, then Fuji, next Nikon-if use with manual Settings.
For auto mode use -Canon , nikon, Fuji.
*** Don't use your camera only in auto mode, then buy a good camera mobile. FOR GOOD PICTURE USE MANUAL MODE ***
FUJIFILM S4500 = 4 out of 5.
I am responsible for what I say; not what you understand.ok.
If you are an amateur who takes more than just casual interest in photography/can't afford a DSLR/is not yet 'qualified' to use a DSLR/has a 15k budget, FujiFilm S4500 is the one to go for. I spent around a fortnight researching and breaking my brain over my choice when I decided to give myself a little promotion from basic point-and-shoot to a low-end bridge camera; even consulted one of the columnists in PhotographyBlog.com. Here are the details --
MY QUERY
Dear Joe,
What would be the best [low-end] bridge camera…priced somewhere in between $240-$300? I am a novice and an extensive research has left me with a short-list of 5 to choose from, viz.,
1)Fujifilm FinePix SL300
2) Nikon CoolPix L810
3) Canon PowerShot SX160
4) Fujifilm FinePix S4500
5) Olympus SP 810UZ
What would you recommend? Please help me.
JOE'S RESPONSE
Rohith,
My first pick would be the Fujifilm S4500,
...The Second would be the Fujifilm SL300.
...My third pick is the Nikon Coolpix L810,
...Fourth pick is the Canon Powershot 160 .
And there you have it okay.
-- Joe Prete
I went with the expert opinion and believe me, after 2 months of photography with FujiFilm S4500, I am really, really happy with its performance.
Hope that helped. Have a great time clicking around, shutterbug!
[P.S -- Not many cameras at this price-range comes with an electronic view-finder, which is a wonderful advantage.]
the S4500 is probably the best based on specs alone if you’re looking for a cheap Fuji super zoom. You can control the shutter speed and aperture and take effective pics like Light painting, using tripod in low light situations give the best result. It can give the best video output only with sufficient light source.the image is sharp even at 30x optical zoom, its awesome and I suggest this camera to all beginners before buying a d SLR
camera,(Know how to use it,then you will love this camera)
