If you are the guy who sits down to play a new video game and emerges only until you have finished it, then I should probably tell you what that giant, bright ball in the sky is. It’s called the sun and if you look at it, then your eyes are going to burn up, literally. I know you are used to that LED glow of you mega-awesome Full HDTV and the dark lighting of your room. I know that the last time you had a proper, healthy meal was when you were 11 years old. And I also know that the only reason you have decided to venture out in the open is probably to wait in the line for a new game release. Your girlfriend (yeah, right, like you would have one, but still there’s hope) might tell you that it’s been aeons since you looked at her lovingly like you do at your gaming avatar. All your strongest bonds with humanity comes through not your family, friends (if you have any), or dating life (get real), but through your Xbox Live or PlayStation Network interactions. You might not even remember the last time you spoke to someone. But all that’s chill. You are a gamer and I salute you. And because I’ll be seeing you real soon on World of Warcraft, I’ll leave you with few games that you might want to wait in the line for or well pre-order online.
Waiting in the Line or Pre-Ordering?
Before I give you that sacred list, are you going to wait in the line or pre-order? Because, if you want to be the first one to tear open the plastic and fire up that game before the sun is up, then to hell with sleep and any sort of dignity that you might have; pick up a lawn chair, packets of chips and join the brethren of sleep-deprived, numb thumbs, gamers. But if you are the one who has to have the pre-order game so that you can use the code to unlock some features, then spend your time glued to the screen for the game sale to go live. In any case, you will be forever remembered, by the various gaming community that you are part of.
The Must-Game List
According to E3 2015, ‘the games that will be seen this year will arguably trump anything seen last year’, simply because many of the games will actually be out this year. That being said, here are the key titles that you need to look out for PC, PS4 and Xbox One consoles:
For PS4, Xbox One and PC: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
For PS4:, Xbox One and PC: Fallout 4
For Xbox One and PS4 : Rise of Tomb Raider
For Xbox One: Halo 5: Guardians
For Xbox One, PS4 and PC: Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate
For Xbox One: Forza Motorsport 6
For Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Playstation 4: Destiny: The Taken King
Well, that’s the list buddy. Now, once you have pre-ordered these games online or not, get back to being the guy who sits down to play video games all too frequently. And maybe become the creature that you chase in the games you play, in the eyes of your friends and family.
