Worst quality DVD of a great movie!! It's better to wait for BluRay !!
Gangs of Wasseypur is a great movie in all aspects and I always wanted to grab its BluRay as soon as it releases.
Recently, I saw the DVD in a local store and couldn't resist buying it.
But, I was highly disappoint to find that the picture quality of this DVD is worst !! Frame is full of pixelation and not even good enough for viewing on a CRT TV. Dolby audio is also not upto the mark. I wonder how come the production house has approved this DVD ? Nobody should buy such bad quality DVD which is nothing but a hasty approach to encash the film's success.
We always expect some standard quality be it a CD, DVD or a Bluray...but DVD of GOW is a shame on its quality standards !!
Hope the production house listen this and improves the DVD quality and stops the current batch of Bad quality DVDs !!
I expect a early Bluray release of this great revenge saga with all sort of quality standards.
Finally some words...Anurag Kashyap's GOW is Bollywood's answer to Hollywood. Hats off!! No film buff can dare to miss it !!

Finest piece of cinema
This is the best it can get this year .. wish they had included deleted scenes etc in this DVD .. undoubtedly the finest performance from Manoj Bajpai .. the song in the climax is a fitting tribute to the Bihar ke Lala .. jiye tu hazaar saala.
very good music .. subtle humor in the screenplay .. fine use of music ... look forward to the 2nd part

Good DVD
Its a good DVD by print and sound. But does not contain Bonus DVD, which is disappointing for guys who would love to know what went behind making this movie. The only issue abut this DVD is the print at the starting credits of the movie,the print goes bad.
Else, its a good DVD for a good movie. Enjoy.
