the made easy for gate civil is quit good but not so good...it only provide references of questions not provide thoroughly details of different numerical......i think it not so good apart from this book buy gate 2012 solution book from Flipkart for better result...hope it is use full for those friends...and special thanks to flipkart for this kind of huge book collections....thanks and keep it UP!!!!!

Book is good for a fast prep
Very selective questions area solved from each portion
Well divided well organised
Not for those who want to depend only on a single book

Good but not the best

Many problems are given good explanations easy to catch up for a person who is already well acquainted with the topics, For the rest its a jigsaw puzzle that needs to be solved. A few questions from 2000's to rest have not been solved but only given answers.

Bottom Line/TLDR: If you are prepared for the exam this is your book for practice.

95% of the answers provided are correct.The solutions provided also are good and will help in solving similar type of problems.iAll the questions are in a single place and has been divided chapter wise with indepth expalnations.It will help in preparation of other exams like bits, iiits etc

Pros:-

The book is excellent IF only GATE papers r needed for practice along-with solutions.
There's No topic-wise solution so You can a get a glimpse of The actual pattern of the paper
All in all A Good book with 6 Test papers that really need some solving...........

a complete package for maths for starters or those who have completely forgotten (like me). no other book, notes etc will be required...
Theories explained in simple illustrative language followed by solved GATE questions.

Best part being each chapter is subdivided into sections and questions easing complete understanding.

Full rating from my side. no cons as such.
