not all sections are good!!!!!
THE ECONOMY SECTION IS THE WORSTMOST PART OF THIS BOOK FOR PRELIMS.....ONE CAN NOT RELY..... hindi book has good material for economy written by ramesh singh..........while english version is written by someone else......that is not helpful...

The book was fantastic. As everyone said, economics is not upto the mark considering level of UPSC. However, it does give you a broad understanding of many topics. All the reference to CBSE Textbooks & other standard books are unnecessary with this books.
It covers most of the topics from what I've understood. The depth is not much because the publishers want to cover every topic in a single book in broad strokes.
We've to extra standard books for indepth understanding of a topic.
This book is for beginners. It covers all the topics in broad strokes & give you fair idea of weightage of each topic in past question papers of UPSC & point us in the right direction for refrence.

Last night I solved the physics exercise, It have some errors.
Otherwise the attempt to cover all aspect in a concise fashion is appreciable, but not adequate.
One can purchase this book if practice is desired. But, as per content this book has few topic missing.
Fine to crack SSC.
this book is not up to the level of civil preparation as i have noticed,i have gone through reading Indian National Movement but stop reading while analysis questions of Civil have never been appeared from this.
what i like is the General Science Section has heavy emphasis, one could only depend upon General Science portion of this book and skip NCERT for Science also some topics of General Knowledge (selected).
If one should wholly depend upon this book to clear prelims for CSE (he/she may dare to act upon) one can purchase this book for reference to various topics and especially for those who are not fond of using internet.
NOT UP TO THE LEVEL OF CIVILS EXAMS BUT ONE CAN CRACK SSC (GRADUATE LEVEL) WITH THIS.
