Generation Ship

Home World government has given the people a chance to better their lot in life. All they have to do is leave their homes and families behind and travel thousands of light-years to a new and unknown planet. Two million eight hundred thousand couples accept the challenge and leave on each of the Generation ships that the Government hopes will re-establish Man's dominion in the galaxy.

Without support from Home World, are these intrepid colonists doomed to a horrible death or will they survive to establish a new, more equitable society on a new world?

After a journey that is twenty-five centuries long, will they be the same people who left their homes? Can they find the self-discipline to rule by democratic principles or will anarchy reign instead?
