Genius HS-300N Headphone

Just got it delivered with all the flipkart fanciness. The product is foldable too. The mic is detachable. There's an inline volume control, the cable is lengthy enough. The sound is loud and good. I recommend it.

Replaced my year old Logitech headset (which sucked by the way) with this one and I'm quite pleased with the product. The headset fits snugly on your ear flap and the mic comes right up to your mouth from the left speaker unit (most Logitech's mics come from the right, which I find quite annoying). There is a dedicated volume control wheel somewhere in the middle of the cord that you'll find quite handy. The sound is crisp and clear and is not muffled. However, the headset's volume is a bit on the lower end and might not be the best choice for people residing/using it in noisy locations. The mic is slim and cool and unlike the other kind which place a swab of foam right into your mouth. The mic grasps sounds well and is also detachable, which is great. The whole headset itself is foldable, but feels a little swanky and brittle (which makes it quite light) to keep folding and unfolding on a regular basis. The headset is definitely not suitable for long duration activities such as movies as it sits on your ear flap, which might start to hurt after sometime, and is ideally suited best for skype/voip calling.

At this price, its quite unlikely you'll find something better with all the Zebras and Tonics in the market and your mid-range (600 - 1000 bucks) show-offs such as Logitech are just over-priced trinkets. Unless you have a girlfriend whose honey-coated voice deserves every bit of the best audio technology known to man to make her sound irresistible over a call, save your money and go for the one.

It has a good sound fidelity but disappointingly low on volume. Comfortable and light to wear. Detachable microphone is fine. Sound reproduction and capture of microphone is quite good. Can catch sound at distance. Kinda OKAY in the price range but nothing mind-blowing about it.

Got it delivered within the timeframe. The product is worth its price. The mic, though detachable, is not very good. Noise cancellation is not at all upto the mark. At a high volumes the noise becomes unbearable. The sound is clear and good. I recommend it for beginners. Sound freaks this is not for you!

This headphone is the light headphone I have ever used... Moreover, it is foldable too....
Microphone works great and it is detachable... The wire is long enough to sit back and watch movies... The sound is loud and clear... There is a volume control in the head phones cords which is quite handy...
