Firstly, I'm not sure why flipkart says it's a sandwich maker. It's ALSO a sandwich maker but primarily a grill.
It's compact, it does a pretty good grilling job and living up to my expectations. Since I'm into bodybuilding, I need lean meat to have very minimal fat so I like how the fat from the meat drips down in a container included.
Grilling chicken can't be quicker: The chicken cooks really quick in the neighborhood of about 6 mins but quicker when you cut them into cubes or pieces. It's got thermostat so it shuts off automatically but you still have to keep watching the chicken.
cons: What's missing is a knob to select heat and the wire should've been much much longer such that it could've been feasible.
All in all it's a nice little grill!
This is a small grill, so make sure you understand the dimensions they've given. I did not really look at the dimensions, and assuemed it would have a large plate that couls take four slices.
So I was dismayed when I opened the box and saw a small grill plate. Also as mentioned in the previous post, the absence of an temperature control is frustrating.
But the positives, from using for a week, and maybe five times total.
No regrets. It serves its purpose, makes a good grilled sandwich.
Have not tried melts or meats yet.
