Geronimo Stilton is the pseudonym employed by the bestselling children’s novelist, Elisabetta Dami.

She has penned numerous books including Four Mice Deep in the Jungle, Merry Christmas, Geronimo!, Cat and Mouse in a Haunted House, The Temple of the Ruby of Fire, The Mouse Island Marathon, and Watch Your Whiskers, Stilton!.

She was born to a publisher in Italy in 1958. She joined the family-run business utilizing her skills as a proofreader. She then made a foray into penning her own books. Her collaboration with the publishing firm, Piemme, led to several of her works getting published. She also enjoys adventure sports and has gone trekking and parachuting in Nepal, Alaska, Egypt and other places.
