GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard

Some users have claimed they are able to use the 1600Mhz Ram we have seen corsair vengeance dual channel 1600 Mhz RAM fail on this board so be cautious before buying it the version 5.0 of board may work may not work with some 1600 Mhz RAM

Even official website also suggest that even the version 5.0 of the motherboard does support only 1333 Mhz

Ordered this best mobo before 15 days obviously from flipkart, its the best performance mobo for Amd am2 and Am3 family,usb 3.0 simply rocks best speedy usb ,dual ps2 socket you can plug either keyboard or mouse,humidity technology serves the best because of glass fiber,rock solid built .lil bit big in size, mobo,supports 4 memory slots.I like this motherboard a lot because of it's solid build,humidity protection,over voltage protection, all the capacitors are solid with massive lifespan,guys...

Good support for over clocking :D running at 4.22Ghz with a Fx8230
now u get the 5.0 version which is black not blue .. updated bios

But man this Mobo dont seem to post with a 1600mhz ram
i brought gskil 1600 frm flipkart which didnt work and they will not take it back S***
so i sold it in olx for 700rs less :( tatz my money gone

and i tried with my old transcend 1333 and gskill togatha and tat posts and runs as 2+4 =6gb
but that is not a good config so...

After using It for more than 4 months I am writing this review.
To build my new machine I chose this Gigabyte over ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3,motherboard for my AMD FX-6300 processor.
Pro's:
1.Two front USB 3.0 port support with+two at rear panel
2.Fast booting.
3.Simple bios settings
4.Solid registers protects against irregular power supply.
5.Solid and sturdy build.
6.Good PC health status programs

Cons's:
1.Formatting using pendrive is not supported.
2.Not for me but support up to only 1333mhz ra...

still great for gaming...

at first I was goin to buy the gibabyte 880gm-usb3 which costs around 5-5.5k and I was about to pair it wid my Sapphire Radeon HD 6670....now let me tell you that one of the biggest reasons behind 880gm-USB3's price is its integrated HD RADEON grafix....but if you install a grafix card then the integrated GFX will totally become worthless....thats y I bought this mthrbrd..not frm flipkart...
So gamers,this motherboard is more than enuf for u..if u r planning to pair it wid a good grafix card....

I've bought this motherboard for my old AMD based desktop. Here are the pros and cons -

Pros:

1. Easy to set up and all if you have Windows 7 running.
2. Has all the needed ports and ATI Raedon 3000 integrated graphics.

Cons:

1. No Windows 8.1 graphics driver support out of the box. If you've a Full HD monitor, you won't be able to see full HD resolution after you upgrade to Windows 8.1. Their support page do not have any graphics driver for 8.1. You'll need to download the driver for Win...
