When i first ordered this mobo it was not out of stock with flipkart. so i ordered it the 3rd day when it was available. I am using it with a Intel core 2 duo E4300. the purpose i ordered this bcoz i wanted to overclock my CPU. It is so easy to overclock CPU using this mobo and a good pair of DDR3 RAM (CORSAIR VENGEANCE i prefer). U wont believe me i am running mine at 3.38 GHz (from 1.8 GHz) with a stock cooler. but still m gonna buy a decent cooler.
the maximum temperature is like 60 degrees with load n wen i continuously play ASSASSINS CREED 3 for more then 3 hours. Well this mobo only has on con ie it does not support an OC RAM clock speed of 1600mhz instead it supports little lesser ie 1333mhz. anyways who cares it doesn't make so much difference. well m happy with this mobo. I am ****ing sure to conclude is this piece of mobo is d best LGA 775 socket motherboard available. Thumbs up to buyers............. Gigabite rocksssss.

My question is whether my motherboard can handle a 2.0/4.0 DDR3 1333Mhz ram and a entry level graphics card within Rs. 2000 or $40?
Saw these in flipkart - ASUS AMD/ATI RADEON HD5450 1GB 1333Mhz, SAPPHIRE AMD/ATI RADEON HD5450 1GB 1333Mhz.

It is mentioned on the content box that it supports a DDR3 but for my confusion I tried searching for confirmation throughout the web. Most say it does not support. On the motherboard layout, there happens to be two individual DDR3 slots. I would have tested it out if I had a DDR3 ram for myself. Sorry for dropping by with my questions. Running DDR2 currently without any hitches. On the gaming side, the on-board graphics X4500 serves a good support for 95% of the game tested. These are the game list which I tested :-
FALLOUT:NEW VEGAS(LOW TO MEDIUM), DOOM3, DEATH-SPANK ALL SERIES, FAR CRY ALL SERIES, UT2004, HALF LIFE 2 ALL CHAPTERS, BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM(LOW), COD ALL SERIES, L4D ALL SERIES, NINJA BLADE(LOW), DIRT 3, COMPANY OF HEROES, SUPREME COMMANDER ETC. Pre 2008 games ran without a trouble. I had tested it myself believe me. The list is huge. For a par low hardware like mine, I was surprised how good it could perform in terms of gaming wise. I have to admit the motherboard is sweet but now I need a GFX card within the budget. Especially for gaming, watching movies without a need for extra PSU upgrade. My current PSU jets 450W and the GFX must be compelled to work with it. So it would be awesome if one could enlighten me or direct me regarding my queries. Thank you in advance.

I am a professional 'Photoshop' user and my previous motherboard (Gigabyte 945 GCMXS2) with it's maximum of 2Gb ddr2 ram was hugely insufficient for my needs. I was however happy with my processor (Intel C2D e4500 2.2 Ghz) and didn't want to spend a fortune buying a new computer just for the ram.

This is one of the few motherboards that support the now old LGA 775 processors and 8Gb of new ddr3 ram. The other one here on flipkart is 'ASRock G41C-GS' but I preferred to go with Gigabyte for the sake of my old mobo.

I am currently running it with e4500 overclocked @ 3.0 Ghz, 8 Gb of ram(2 X G.Skill NT DDR3 4 GB 1333) on stock cooling (OS Windows 7 Ultimate X64). No overheating, no issues. Works like a charm. Windows Experience Index of 6.5 for processor and ram and 4.9 for the on-board graphics (32mb dedicated graphics memory + 32mb reserved ram = 64mb onborad graphics ) Total graphic memory (dedicated + shared) = 1695mb.

All in all my PC feels HUGELY upgraded from what it was earlier. Best 3500 bucks I ever spent! If you have a compatible LGA 775 processor (check compatibility online), want 8 Gb of ddr3 ram (and have a budget of around 7000 Rs. to spend on Mobo + ram), click buy now!

As for the service of Flipkart, This was only my second set of purchase from them but I am VERY happy, Packaging was bubble wrapped, tamper proof & shock proof. Delivered on 3rd day from Mumbai to Chandigarh with live feed on the progress the entire time. Looking forward to shopping with them more often.

I am using this motherboard since the last two months without any issues. I wanted to upgrade my p4 d102gcc2 based pentium D 820 setup in small steps. This mobo was perfect for this requirement.

It has support for both DDR2 and DDR3, so I am continuing to use my 2GB DDR2 with this board. I will get myself 8GB of DDR3 when I'm ready for it. I won't be upgrading the processor for a while as my pentium D is good enough for now. Later, I plan to upgrade the processor to a newer LGA775 chip (c2d), which this motherboard supports.

Be warned though that you cannot use both DDR2 and DDR3 at the same time. The picture shows REV 1.4, but I got the latest REV 2.0.
