A David Fincher intrepretation
Being one of the many movie buffs, who were dissapointed that this movie did not get a Theatrical release in India, I was worried if the DVD/Bluray would also be a chop chop version.
No - It is not!.
The Bluray Video and Audio is of absolutely pristine quality. Must watch
THRILLING
A devoted rendition of the novel the movie follows the novel's plot religiously and Sweden has been beautifully portrayed. Both Daniel Crag and Rooney Mara do justice to the respective roles of Mikeal Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander. The villian doesn't appear to be as repulsive as portrayed in the novel but this is a minor abberation.
Rooney Mara fits Lisbeth's role to a T down to the hideous dressing sense, hairstyle and don't give a damn attitude. Her assets aren't going to put Dolley Parton to shame but the pierced nipples look kinda cute.

So, we have a movie!!
No wonder Rooney Mara has played a marvelous role in this movie, but still, the book is much more fun. Though this movie has been made in very good parameters, the one thing I hated about this Movie was its background score. A very lame and saturated Background score, rest all, the movie is good, the book is great!
