To understand the concept of European History, we must have a comprehensive account of the subject to provide a handy and reliable source of information. Compiling a book of this type is not an easy task. Elementary questions are usually far more arduous to tackle. The selection of topics for this book was difficult and many individuals and incidents have been omitted, though reluctantly. This compilation also contains a List of Maps, Chronology of Significant Dates and Chief European Rulers covering the period (1450-1945) as Appendix I, II and III.
