God's Children Said Amen

It is my fond memories of the August months that my father, mother, older brother and I spent in upstate New York that inspired me to write "Godas Children Said Amen," Most of the novel takes place in the small town of Cedarville in the Catskills during the early 1950s. Here we meet the farmers known as the Good Ola Boys who gather around the Franklin stove in the General Store to share the dayas events while the women prefer getting their news at aErichas Beauty Salon.a During the two years that this story takes place, there has been a suicide, a murder, an attempted rape, love, hate, marriages (both good and bad), a birth and a death, tears, laughter and a broken promise. There is certainly no want for topics of conversation and, best of all, the two bad guys get their comeuppance.
