This is seventh installment in the God Of War series and prequel to the entire.The God Of War games have always been an epitome of well choreographed brutality and also known for magical graphics,in fact many of the editor's say God Of War games as graphical p@rn and this does not disappoint at all.
The game is set 10 years before the God Of War I and the story is about what it takes to break the oath and the consequences to be suffered.The game tries to depict the more human side of the well known and loved Demigod - KRATOS.The gameplay is fast compared to the previous titles and little simplified this time.And you won't stop admiring the stunning visuals and brutality.
And for the first time in the God Of War series, the multiplayer packs a punch(may not be the best among many others),but you will enjoy it,player can align to one of the four Gods;Ares,Hades,Poseidon,Zeus.
Fans might find the game same as previous, but that's the reason we love this game!
This is a must buy title for every PS3 owner and an good appetizer for the PS4 Exclusives and new IP's.This is one of the games that makes PlayStation owner's proud.Go get it!!!

I have completed the game and its good but not awesome or great.God of War 3 was epic but this is a little dummed down I dont know how to explain this.many people have written how the graphics were stunning etc,etc but what I can see is they have improve the lighting effects but God of war 3 had better texturing(Dats just my opinion) and the background score was lame.I still keep humming God of war 3's music it is epic and they have adjusted the camera how we,the players see Kratos but in God of war 3 the camera was placed very close to kratos we could see his hands swinging confidently and his shoulder blades moving.It was manly and terrififc.Even if this is a prequel or if the director had changed they should have not changed those intimate things and even the dialogues were kind of lame.GOW 3's dialogues were pretty cool and u won't get tired of hearing them multiple times and there is too much platforming in the game.I got a feeling that I was playing Darksiders but overall it is a good game.THANKS TO FLIPKART FOR DELIVERING IT ON TIME.

Frankly, there comes a time when we've had enough of Kratos.

Pros:

Stunning, spectacular visuals.

That's about it, really. Maybe, it's franchise fatigue, I don't know, I found myself not enjoying the game all that much, because it felt so much like God of War 3. The puzzles have definitely improved, of course, that's also a fun part.

Cons:

New combat mechanics, very irritating. Sometimes, you feel your combos are better without the rage meter full.

Physical attacks? World weapons? Why? Seriously, why? I found myself NEVER using these things and the O button became a bit of a formality. Except during the boss kill button sequences.

No other weapon except the Blades of Chaos. Interesting concept, but well, boring, in all honesty.

No way this game was worth 3000 INR. Multiplayer too is, well, not up to the mark. And the pre-order bonus Last of Us : Demo? Accessible on May 30th.

3 stars only because of the reasonable amount of fun the campaign mode provided. Guess I'll go try to beat the game in Titan mode now...
