God Of War: Collection Reviews

This is the best game I have ever played on PS3.

Kratos got some real nuts to go against Gods.
Amazing inventory... GOW2 puzzles will eat your brain to solve.

Still struggling to complete this in God / Titan Mode. But its really tough..

Looking forward to buy Collection Vol. II soon.

If yuo enjoy action games...then this is the game for you...it does not matter how many times you make kratos swing his swords you can't just get enough of his cool moves...very immersive gameplay....
As for flipkart service...well i got my product delivered the very next i ordered it..' do i need to say anything more?..naaahhhh...'

God of War and God of War II are flawed games. Originally for PS2, these games were remastered for PS3 and a lot of time limits for puzzles etc were shortened. Some puzzles are increasingly frustrating which might discourage a player from attempting a second play-through. While the graphics are overall okay, I've seen much better. The story is good but there are hitches in the game mechanics. I would recommend either playing it on PS2 if you are dead set on the game.
If you want a complete GoW experience, buy God of War III for PS3.

First let me talk about Flipkart's service. I Don't understand how some people have mentioned that they got this delivered in 2-3 days. I got it in ONE DAY!! :D

Now back to the game. The sole reason of me buying PS3 was to play this title, after having played chains of olympus on PSP. The game is a must have and a reason of pride for all Sony gaming systems owners(as it is not available on any other platform). This is one of the games that fills you with satisfaction of playing on the playstation platform. So if you don't have it, what best to get then this collection.

Warning: Be ready for some serious button mashing!

If you are a fan of God of War, this is really quite a no brainer. They have done a pretty good job upscaling most of the textures and environments to PS3 level spec. Considering its an old game, and only people who really know the series will play it...I will leave out the game review.

My opinion: no matter how old you are now, get this & God of War III and play through it chronologically.

This game justifies why PS3 is better than the X-Box. Awesome story, gameplay and graphics. Even 3D is available. To top everything-The Price. I was surprised that the price was so low. Recommended to all kinds of gamers but i suggest you play GOW 1 and 2 first to get the hang of the story line.

I have played a lot of games in PC as well as PS3 (A few examples: COD series, Assassin's creed series, Tomb raider, NFS, Batman: Arkham city & Arkham Asylum, Prince of Persia series etc...). But, to me, this is the best so far!

The Greek mythology, combined together with the brute force of the antagonist (I can't say he is the protagonist) Kratos, is just amazing and breathtaking ! I know very well about the Greek history and the gods. That might be a reason why I liked the game, but nevertheless, the innumerable puzzles which require a lot of time to crack (but are very fundamental, if you analyze them after you have cracked them) makes the game very special. And, not to forget the angry Kratos !

The magnificence of the game blows you away. By following Kratos, we witness the vast desert of the lost souls, the huge titan Cronos, with the temple of Pandora on his back and many more. All the weapons of Kratos are fantastic, and they help in killing his victims, cutting them down and blasting them open.

Overall, my rating is 5/5. If you have not grabbed this game, go grab it game addicts !!!

About the game, its great for a GOW fan, the old games have been remastered into HD nicely, They play exactly like they used to on the ps2 but with a better frame rate of 60fps.Only sad part is that the cut scenes haven't been made into HD and look very blurred...otherwise a 10/10 like the original ps2 classics.

Got this game after my current disc was scratched and the God Of War 1 was stuck. Amazing games if you haven't played them on PS2.
