I own a God of War: Chains of Olympus and was blown away with the kind of graphics and gameplay and was eagerly waiting for Ghost of Sparta to be out in India. The Gameplay of ghost of sparta is a little longer than that of chains of olympus. This game does have a superior graphics than most of the ps2 games out there. The only con I found was some part of the gameplay being repetitive. If you are a fan of God of War series then you would like it.
If u have played god of war chains of olympus u must have thought that santa monica could never thought that they can top that level of quality again but they have surpassed it
while you were playing this game u will feel that you are not playing on a handheld graphically its looks better than some of ps2 games like original god of war
Psp lacks one anlog sticks and 2 shoulder buttons but even after that controls are good but only weakness is that they are no puzzles at all
Its the best story in the whole god of war series in this u have to search for kratos's brother who have been taken by god wen they were childand this tells why he is pi**ed off towards god
Its a great with high replay value it'll take near about 6-7 hours to complete story mode after that u have to gain extra red orbs to unlock various videos, art etc

its the best game and I finished it twice. it has a great story.Must Buy this.........best story, best graphics ITS THE BEST!!!! ITS STORY IS-
An oracle foretold that the demise of Olympus would come not by the revenge of the great Titans, who had been imprisoned after the Great War, but by a marked warrior. The Olympians Zeus and Ares believed this warrior to be Deimos, the brother of Kratos, due to his strange birthmarks. Ares interrupts the childhood training of Kratos and Deimos (with Athena watching) and kidnaps Deimos. Kratos attempts to stop Ares, but is swept aside and subsequently scarred across his right eye by the Olympian. Athena stops Ares from killing Kratos, knowing his eventual destiny. Taken to Death's Domain, Deimos is imprisoned and tortured by Thanatos.
Years later, Kratos has taken Ares' place as the new God of War on Mount Olympus. Still haunted by visions of his mortal past, Kratos decides against Athena's advice to explore his past and travels to the Temple of Poseidon, located within the city of Atlantis. The sea monster, Scylla, attacks and destroys Kratos' vessel off the coast of Atlantis, although the Spartan drives the beast off. After a series of skirmishes across the city, he eventually kills Scylla.
In the temple, Kratos locates Callisto, who attempts to reveal the identity of his father. When Callisto is suddenly transformed into a hideous beast, her son is forced to battle her, and before dying, Callisto thanks Kratos and beseeches him to seek out Deimos in Sparta. Before departing, Kratos encounters and frees the trapped Titan, Thera, which causes the eruption of an underground volcano, and subsequently destroys the city. During his escape, he has another encounter with the enigmatic Grave Digger, who warns of the consequences of alienating the gods.
After a battle with Erinys, the daughter of Thanatos, Kratos arrives in Sparta and witnesses a group of Spartans tearing down a statue of Ares, intent on replacing it with one of Kratos. Kratos then chases a dissenter loyal to Ares into the Spartan Jails, who attempts to kill Kratos by releasing the Piraeus Lion. Defeating both foes, Kratos journeys to the Temple of Ares, where he encounters the spirit of his child self and learns that he must return to the now sunken Atlantis and locate the Domain of Death. Before leaving, a loyal Spartan provides him with his former weapons – used during Kratos' days as a Captain of the Spartan army – Arms of Sparta.
Entering the Domain of Death, the Spartan frees his imprisoned brother. Enraged that Kratos failed to rescue him sooner and stating he will never forgive him, Deimos attacks Kratos, but Thanatos – responsible for Deimos' torture – intervenes. Thanatos takes Deimos against his will to Suicide Bluffs (the site of Kratos' suicide attempt), where Kratos saves Deimos from falling to his death. A grateful Deimos then aids his brother in battling the god. Thanatos kills Deimos but is destroyed, in turn, by Kratos. Remarking that his brother is finally free, Kratos places Deimos in his grave (leaving the Arms of Sparta as a grave marker), and is warned by the enigmatic Grave Digger who once aided him not to alienate the gods, stating Kratos has become "Death... the Destroyer of Worlds." Athena appears and begs for forgiveness (offering full godhood) for not revealing the truth, but Kratos ignores her and returns to Olympus, promising that "the gods will pay for this." As Kratos leaves, Athena calls him "brother".
In a post-credits scene, the Grave Digger places Callisto in a grave by Deimos (with an empty third grave nearby) and states "Now... only one remains." The final scene is a brooding Kratos sitting on his throne on Mount Olympus.
At E3 2010, Ghost of Sparta received nine awards, including "Best Handheld Game", "Best PSP Game", and "PSP Game of Show" from several media outlets and three other nominations. PlayStation: The Official Magazine, awarded Ghost of Sparta with the "Gold Award". Kotaku awarded the game with the Editor's Choice stating "God of War: Ghost of Sparta is a palm-sized epic video game." At the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards, God of War: Ghost of Sparta was awarded "Best Handheld Game".
This game is so awesome that I don't have words for it. Too good to be true. There are awesome bosses from Greek mythology such as Scylla, Erinys and many mini bosses such as Midas etc.
The only con of this game is that the main boss is the greek god of death, who is Hades but here he is named Thanatos. But that won't bother gameplay. I think of this as a con just because I really like greek mythology and it would bother you only if you are also a fan of greek mythology just like me.
The gameplay is awesome and so is the sound. The storyline is great too.
There are also features such as The Temple of Zeus, Arena Mode, Videos and Challenge of the Gods which will entertain you even after you finish the game.
Overall a awesome game which you will really like. And mind boggling twists in the storyline.
I hope you liked my review,
